Following last year's change to the age group, this year's Nike Premier Cup brings with it
another exciting change – for the first time, 24 teams from a total of seven nations will
compete over the Easter holiday at the grounds of Hertha BSC.
The Nike Premier Cup will be officially opened on the Friday evening at the Pavilion of the
InterContinental Hotel Berlin, and will feature the first big highlight of the weekend – the live
The first two group games will take place on Saturday morning. In the afternoon, all players
will be able to collect their Nike Premier Cup Shirt at the Nike Berlin Experience Store, and
have the opportunity to do some discounted shopping.
The final group games will take place on Sunday morning, to be followed by the knock-out
rounds and the final at 3.30 pm in the Amateur Stadium.

The big Nike Premier Cup Opening Ceremony will take place on the Friday evening at 7.30
pm in the Pavilion of the InterConti Hotel Berlin.
The Nike Premier Cup 2018 will take place on natural grass pitches. Two additional artificial
grass pitches are available for warming up, for friendly matches on Sunday, and for any
weather-related organisational changes. Please note that players may not use screw-in studs
(metal, plastic etc.).
All players must bring appropriate boots for artificial grass and natural grass surfaces. The
tournament organisers reserve the right to hold the tournament on artificial grass, if
necessary for weather-related reasons.
Each team has a maximum of 16 players eligible to play for the entire tournament.
Before your team's first game, an identity check will be performed by the referee. Only C
category youth players, born on or after 1 January 2004, are eligible to play in the
tournament. Players must be in possession of a valid player's licence, with player's photo,
issued by the relevant national association. If unable to present this, the player will not be
permitted to play. Guest players are not eligible to play.
There are 24 teams taking part in the Nike Premier Cup 2018. The first stage is the group
stage of six groups, with four teams in each group. The groups will be drawn as part of the
Opening Ceremony taking place on Friday evening. The first two group games will take place
on Saturday. The final group game and the main round will be played on Sunday. The group
winners and the two best group runners-up will qualify for the main round, which will be held
on a knock-out basis.
All games will be played over two halves of 15 minutes each. During the main round, any
matches ending in a draw after normal time, will be directly decided on a penalty shoot-out.

questions. The Guides will be introduced to the teams before the Opening Ceremony.

participating teams, match results, and the latest group placing.
For the first time, every match of the Nike Premier Cup will be broadcast live. So family and
friends who have stayed at home can cheer for every game live. In addition, a summary or
individual highlights will be available to view immediately after the final whistle. You are
